Ilustración inspirada en Fantasía 2000. Terpsícore, hija de Zeus y Mnemosyne, es la musa de la danza, la poesía ligera propia para acompañar en el baile a los coros danzantes y considerada una de las más hermosas hijas de Zeus. En algunas leyendas es considerada la madre de las sirenas (divinidades marinas con maravillosa voz), que osaron competir con las musas, quienes las derrotaron y arrancaron las plumas. Avergonzadas, las sirenas se retiraron a las costas de Sicilia donde, con su canto, ejercían tan poderosa atracción sobre los marinos, que éstos no podían evitar que sus navíos se estrellara contra las rocas. #reto52 , propuesta de @dibujarbien
Illustration inspired by Fantasy 2000. Terpsichore, daughter of Zeus and Mnemosyne, is the muse of dance, her own light poetry to accompany the dancing choirs in the dance and considered one of the most beautiful daughters of Zeus. In some legends she is considered the mother of mermaids (marine divinities with a wonderful voice), who dared to compete with the muses, who defeated them and plucked the feathers. Embarrassed, the mermaids withdrew to the shores of Sicily where, with their song, they exercised such a powerful attraction on the sailors that they could not prevent their ships from crashing against the rocks. # reto52, proposed by @dibujarbien
